On September 29, 2026, the Economic and Financial Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) conducted a special work research on “Analysis of Shanghai’s Economic Operation in 2026 and Suggestions on Economic Development Ideas for 2027,” visiting Putuo District to inspect the Hongshoufang urban renewal and construction project. Shou Ziqi, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal CPPCC; Yan Xu, Director of the Economic and Financial Committee of the Shanghai Municipal CPPCC, and Jin Yu, Executive Deputy Director of the Committee; and Liu Min, Chairman of the Putuo District CPPCC, conducted the research at Shanghai Jingsheng Metal, an enterprise settled in Hongshoufang, accompanied by Li Zhihua, Chairman of Shanghai Jingsheng Metal.
This research is part of the special work of the Economic and Financial Committee of the Shanghai Municipal CPPCC on “Analysis of Shanghai’s Economic Operation in 2026 and Suggestions on Economic Development Ideas for 2027.” It will provide practical references from the front line of urban renewal for further assessing the economic operation situation and planning economic development ideas for 2027.
